This past weekend, I had the opportunity to cover my first Soundset with The Current. One of its kind, the Minnesota signature festival incorporates all 5 elements of hip-hop culture - from MCing, Breakdancing, DJing, Graffiti Writing & Knowledge. Beyond your average performances by your favorite rapper, the day at Minnesota's State Fair grounds was full of activities including but not limited to b-boy/b-girl battles, live graffiti painting, a skate contest, DJ/Producer showcases, and a car show standing on 30" rims and dripping with candy paint.
